Nelipak specialises in customisation and develops some 300 new products a year. The product development department, with its model-making and tool-making shops, thus occupies an important position within the organisation. 40 People work in this department.
The task of this department is to translate the customer's requirements and wishes into an optimal end product by way of design and model. Nelipak uses NX (Unigraphics) software and a 3-D drawing and modelling programme and has a total of 15 workstations.
