Account Manager Pharma 

Our European Sales team is looking for an experienced Account Manager, Pharma – Europe 

Main responsibilities:

  • Find and attract new pharmaceutical customer relationships not currently present within Nelipak client-base 
  • Grow and expand product portfolio with existing customers; key activities will include: 
    • Understanding customer’s go-forward packaging needs for new products or transformations 
    • Informing and educating customers about Nelipak’s evolving product offer set 
    • Managing the life cycle of new product introductions including the coordination between internal Pricing, Operations and Supply Chain functions 
  • Manage current product portfolio within his or her territory/market to achieve sales goals; key activities will include: 
    • Customer demand forecasting 
    • Pricing administration 
    • Operational and logistical coordination 
    • Quality assurance activities  
  • Ensure thorough account plans are in place for both current clients and new account targets 
  • Develop long-term relationships, connection and collaboration with customers and other key stakeholders 
  • Monitor compliance with contract agreements; identify deviations and conduct periodic evaluation/progress reviews with customers 
  • Identify and analyze relevant information and developments among current customer base and the broader pharmaceutical market; translate insights/learnings into necessary commercial actions within Nelipak 
  • Recommend and surface concrete actions to improve business profitability, including but not limited to, product pricing, raw material usage and manufacturing processes  
  • Participate at various networking events and trade shows 


  • Holds a Bachelor degree in an applicable area such as Business, Marketing or Sales; MBA is a plus 
  • Has relevant healthcare industry experience and a strong network within the pharmaceutical market; 4 to 6 years of commercial/sales experience in a B2B highly desired 
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English  
  • Located in Switzerland or Southern Germany  
  • Has a resiliant personality with good time management and organization skills 
  • Ability to travel with overnight stays up to 50-75%
