Title: Associate Accounts Manager

Purpose
The Associate Account Manager supports the sales and account management team by building and maintaining customer relationships, coordinating projects, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role helps drive growth through proactive communication, accurate reporting, and effective use of the CRM system, while assisting in identifying new opportunities and supporting the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as a primary contact for inquiries, updates, and project support.
- Support Account Managers and Senior Account Managers with day-to-day client project execution.
- Conduct in-person or virtual presentations with customers, showcasing company products and services.
- Provide technical assistance and consultative support when problems arise, escalating issues as needed.
- Assist in preparing accurate proposals, quotes, and project timelines.
- Ensure the CRM system is consistently updated to reflect accurate customer data, pipeline activity, and project statuses.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, production, logistics) to align projects executing with client expectations.
- Identify new business opportunities and assist in expanding relationships with new and existing accounts.
- Monitor project milestones, ensuring on-time delivery of products and services.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in sales support, Account Management, customer service (preferably in manufacturing industries).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities.
- Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills are required.
- Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and organization skills
- Knowledge of thermoforming, healthcare packaging, plastics is a plus
- Sales experience from cold call through close with documented success in account management.
- Customer-first mindset with a consultative approach
- Proactive, analytical, and results-driver
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well with co-workers.
- Some travel required
