Title: Senior FP&A Analyst

Purpose

The Sr.FP&A is mainly responsible for Planning, Budgeting, Outlooks, Reporting, and Analysis for Americas segment.  Key areas of support include financial partnering for commercial and operations leadership teams. This role is 75% FP&A and 25% accounting in nature.

Responsibilities
  • Determination of detailed budgets and weekly forecasts.
  • Provide commercial insight and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business on performance.
  • Responsible for producing accurate and timely management reports, including analysis of sales and operational costs (costing, profitability, working capital, and cash generation).
  • Support financial operations to ensure monthly
  • reporting to management (budget comparison, key figures, gap analysis with recommendation of appropriate remedial action, writing comments), within timelines.
  • Maintain and develop the labor and material cost controlling system.
  • Identify and drive cost reductions across the network.
  • Accuracy, completeness, transparency and on time delivery of key financials are critical.
  • Deliver, maintain, and drive key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Identification and analysis of capex opportunities and participate to the development of capex requests.
  • Monthly basis, production and analysis of accounting statements, timely reporting to corporate.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close process.
  • Accounting focus on inventory accuracy, cut-off, and specific transactions.

 

Education and/or Experience
  • BS Degree (Finance / Accounting) or equivalent
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong Commercial awareness and partnering is essential.
  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant finance experience, industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of al team and share best practices on a global level.
  • Strong analytical and insight ability.
  • Good communications skills to articulate financial impacts and forward-looking insights.
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence, Excel, and other MS applications
  • Curiosity and a willingness to work cross functional to solve and implement processes and controls.
  • Knowledge of full-cycle accounting, cost accounting, and month-end close
