Title: AVS Embecta Team Lead 8 months

Purpose

You will oversee and coordinate the daily AVS activities. Ensure the smooth running of the AVS area in order to feed the business operational and customer demand. Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within the AVS function alongside the AVS lead, to ensure company’s targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the AVS area. Reporting to the AVS Business Unit Manager

 

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices are always adhered to, including PPE wearing as appropriate
• Comply with all H&S policies and instruction and actively contribute to company efforts to promote safe behavior and safe systems of work
• Communicate daily with the AVS lead and AVS Business Unit Manager on the current and upcoming schedule requirements to ensure shipping targets are met
• Monitor scheduling of orders to ensure output meets scheduled ship dates and communicate to AVS Lead
• Carry out training with new recruit’s ad monitor progress and effectiveness on ongoing basis
• Ensure all documentation is completed in line with regulatory requirements
• Work order and documentation review
• Preforms other duties as assigned

Education and or Experience:

• Strong management skills [leadership, communication, problem solving, planning, good employee engagement]
•  Basic knowledge of computers systems copiers and office related equipment
•  Basic knowledge of SOP’s and QP’s
• 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment

• Excellent Communicator

Day shift based in Clara Plant
