About the Role

The EHS Officer will develop, lead and continuously improve our Environmental, Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and progressing towards ISO 13485).

You will foster awareness, accountability and engagement across the facility, ensuring EHS initiatives are fully integrated into daily business operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own site safety KPI performance and ensure 100% on-time investigation closure
  • Maintain legal registers and manage regulatory submissions (packaging waste, energy, environmental reporting)
  • Deliver internal audit schedules aligned to ISO clause coverage
  • Drive the Risk Assessment (RA), JSA & SSOW programme
  • Implement structured governance via Safety Day and monthly reporting
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of actions
  • Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and tracking corrective actions
  • Ensure contractor control and RAMS governance
  • Lead EHS planning, goal setting and performance review processes
  • Deliver and coordinate EHS training across employees, contractors and visitors
  • Work closely with engineering to eliminate hazards and reduce environmental impact
  • Maintain accurate EHS records and reporting using SAP and MS Office
  • Promote and lead a high-performance EHS culture across the site
Education & Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering or related field
  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years’ EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using SAP or similar systems desirable
