Title: General Operator Day Shift – AVS Embecta 8 Months

Location: Clara, Ireland

 

Purpose

Reporting to the AVS Lead. Responsible for the testing, inspecting and packing of all finished product in all NHP Ireland Ltd production areas.

Responsibilities

• Testing of finished product being produced on production floor and recording results on designated quality approved documentation.
• Monitoring and inspection of all finished product being manufactured in his/her area.
• Packing of all finished product in his/her area and labeling of product with correct information for shipping to Warehouse packing area.
• Taking an active role in helping with the set-up of machines in his/her area.
• Taking an active role in keeping his/her area of work clean and tidy and maintaining the highest standard of GMP and Health & Safety.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• A General operator will be required to be flexible in his/her position and must be prepared to undertake such other work as may be assigned by the company from time to time. Such work
  can be outside the area of his/ her normal duties.
• Ensure that safe working practices are adhered to at all times, including wearing PPE as appropriate.
• Acquire knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, work instructions, and associated documentation.
• Comply with all Health & Safety Policies and instructions and actively contribute to Company efforts to promote safe behaviour and safe systems of work

Essential Criteria:

• Good teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on ones own initiative and with minimum supervision required.
• Sound problem solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to information.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
• Positive mental attitude and ability to perform a multitude of tasks simultaneously with a helpful, friendly attitude

Experience:

• General Operations experience is desirable.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Metric driven and accountable for results.
• Excellent Communicator
