About the job…Maintenance Technician – Clara, Co. Offaly, IRL
Our Maintenance Technicians are a fundamental part in our smooth operational running of machines, that produce the highest quality product, that we at Nelipak strive for each day. Being a key function in trouble shooting any machine issues that may arise and collaboratively resolving them with minimum downtime. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of patients worldwide by being our customers most trusted partner for the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable healthcare packaging solutions – with a relentless commitment to safety:
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems.
- Performs in-house calibrations on equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair, complex electromechanical production equipment and systems.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience of computer-based maintenance systems.
- Will need to be able to perform under pressure and prioritise workload accordingly.
- Familiar with installing/testing PNP/NPN sensors or various types.
- Experience working with some or all the following systems, Pneumatic, PLC, Hydraulic, Vision, Laser, and chiller Systems.
- Experience of working on Inverter, Stepper and Servo motor control systems.
- Calibrates, adjusts, and repairs processing equipment.
- Flexible towards overtime as required.
- Makes repairs and modifications in accordance with national and local building, electrical, and safety codes to assure regulatory compliance for a medical facility.
Have You…?
- The suitable candidates should be a fully qualified Senior trades time served Electrician with a minimum of 3 years automation experience. [Essential]
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment working on PLC/computer-controlled equipment. [Essential]
- Previous industrial experience in packaging/converting/injection moulding or Medical Device/Pharma industries. [Desirable]
- Project leadership skills and experience. [Desirable]
- AutoCad experience. [Desirable]
