Title: Product Technician Derry

Location: Derry
Purpose
Working closely with our customers, the Product Technician will be responsible for master data support on SAP
for product creation, specification development, data validation and production support.
Responsibilities
- Development and control of new and existing customer specifications maintenance and development
of documents supporting appropriate system controls and procedures to ensure integrity of data used
in reporting and decision-making; - Communicate and coordinate product development with Plant-MDC through designated work
management system; - Liaise with customers regarding artworks and specifications. Liaises with Quality, Planning, Sales,
Production, Customers and Customer Service regarding the status & approval of pending specifications
and Autotask’s; - Project work -including participating in special projects as identified;
- Maintain and update product specifications based on Process Engineering, Quality improvements;
- Support production with the team with spec related queries and article inspection;
- Accountable for SAP data accuracy, integrity, and completeness for area of responsibility;
- Participation in activities related to analysis and interpretation of Packaging Business Data for
Corporate staff; - Maintains and facilitates a comprehensive understanding of the SAP Data requirements;
- Perform final quality inspection of product drawings according to customer specifications and company
procedures; - Assists as needed with coordination of movement of master data between plants within the business
Essential Criteria:
- Further Education or an equivalent combination of education and equivalent business-related work experience
- Strong background / knowledge of Microsoft computer software
Desirable Criteria:
- Flexible Packaging Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in SAP Interested?
