Title: Warehouse Team Lead

Purpose

The Warehouse Team Leader will be responsible for organising and leading a team in an efficient and effective manner to ensure the production plan is met and will report on the same.  S/he will be responsible for meeting productivity, efficiency, quality and EHS targets.

Responsibilities

Promote compliance with Health & Safety regulations Responsible for throughput, labour efficiency and quality metrics Review throughput and implementation of lean principles in line with continuous improvement objectives Focus will be to manage positive employee relations and develop team-versatility Ensure scheduled Skill and Procedure training is carried out on time, evaluate effectiveness and maintain all associated records Review and report warehouse issues to the Manager/department head daily Utilise in-house IS systems to track and report on key metrics identified Induct new staff, carry out Performance appraisals, Drive continuous improvement initiatives where performance is below expectations Daily Rota for your team ensuring resources, works orders and material are in place Ensure material is issued to production works orders in Online Folders and Syspro Minimum 50% on the floor cover breaks/absenteeism etc. CAPA investigation and completion Arrangement of Post Pack audits & Inspections and record keeping for same Organization of logistical requirements (Collection for Overseas, Documentation, etc.) Ensure cycle counts are completed on time and as requested Highlight any potential stockout issues immediately Organise collection schedule with Nelipak Logistics partner daily Cover for warehouse manager as required

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• 2-3 years of Inspection experience in a warehouse environment
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good organisational and oral / written communication skills are required
• problem solving, teamwork, proactivity, interpersonal relationships, focus on results, initiative, commitment, customer orientation, rigorous, orderly, leadership, work under pressure.

Good attendance record
