Continuous Improvement Engineer 

Champion Product & Process improvement and innovation; through the daily operation and maintenance of an effective continuous improvement system, drive efficiency and innovation throughout the Organisation.  Key responsibilities include;

  • Establish a continuous improvement system within the plant
  • Develop and deliver programs improving efficiency and quality in day to day operations within the facility
  • Play an active role in identification and achievement of cost reductions on an annual basis
  • Encourage development of talent through mentoring, coaching, engagement and empowerment of colleagues and reports
  • Develop and maintain KPIs with the aim of meeting or exceeding annual objectives
  • Interact with global team with a view to sharing and obtaining knowledge that can be used to drive improvements in Efficiency, Quality and Innovation

Skill Requirements:

  • 3rd Level qualification in relevant discipline
  • Confident, creative and energetic approach
  • Experience in plastics materials desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CI engineering capacity
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies including lean and six sigma
  • Multi-tasker/Good organisational skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent English language written and oral communications skills
