HR Administrator Full time – Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

Are you looking for a great opportunity as a HR Administrator? Then we are looking for you! The Human Resources Administrator will provide general administrative support in all areas of the HR function reporting directly to the Senior HR Officer.

In this role you are responsible for:

▪ To provide and full range of administrative support service to the HR team at Derry. May occasionally need to provide
administrative support to HR person based at Nelipak site in Elsham, England.
▪ Provide administrative support in all areas across the full “employee life cycle” including but not limited to absence
management, recruitment & selection, learning and development, compensation & benefits, employee relations etc.
▪ Updating HR metrics tracker regularly ensuring data accuracy and reports completed in set timescales.
▪ Perform administrative duties including communications, filing, photocopying, letter writing, note taking and management of
Notice Boards.
▪ Manage the Time and Attendance System including Processing annual leave, clocking validations, processing new starts,
leavers, and agency workers, maintaining up to date information/records, providing specific information to Team Leaders &
Managers, producing reports as required and providing advice and system support on a daily basis while maintaining
▪ Assist in responding to Payroll queries in a timely & accurate manner.
▪ Support with creating contracts of employment, offer letter and relevant new starter documentation for all new employees,
update existing contracts as required.
▪ Co-ordinate onboarding process for introduction of new employees and deliver basic HR induction training.
▪ Raising Requisitions for HR Invoices on SAP and maintaining control.
▪ Maintain current, accurate and confidential personnel records for all employees observing data protection requirements.
▪ Recording Environment, Health & Safety observations monthly.
▪ Assist with the preparation and submission of required diversity monitoring data and reporting.
▪ Assist the Senior HR Officer throughout the recruitment process including short listing and communication with candidates /
agencies and participating in interviews as required.
▪ Provide reports on data including absence, headcount and holidays.
▪ Preparation of shift rotas and holiday schedules for hourly paid employees annually.
▪ Be the first point of contact for recruitment agencies for the provision of temporary agency staff.
▪ Arranging appointments with the OH service.
▪ Processing monthly updates of employee assistance benefits.
▪ Promote and support Nelipak Health and Wellbeing initiatives and assist with events as required. Participating in Wellness &
Engagement Committee.
▪ Lead or participate in miscellaneous HR projects, including ensuring employee records and related documents are maintained
confidentially & efficiently

Essential Criteria:

▪ Obtained CIPD Level 3 in Human Resource People Practice or working towards it is advantageous.
▪ Minimum of 2-3 years in an Administration role providing extensive admin support to a team of people.
▪ 1-2 years of HR Administration is advantageous.
▪ Experience of record maintenance with knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.
