Pricing Analyst, Venray Full time – Permanent Position

We are looking for a new college who is really  good with numbers and  has a good understanding of the Excel functions. Someone from an engineering background would be ideal but we provide all the necessary training to get you up and running in this interesting position.

Job Purpose:

You will be working in an international team and with local colleagues @ Nelipak Venray. The Pricing Manager Europe is your manager, communication with your Pricing Analytic Colleagues will be via weekly calls, team meetings and plant visits. All training will be given at the Venray or Derry plant.

the Pricing Analyst shall develop and provide product costing and selling price guidance; act as an interface between Finance, Sales and Customer Service in the provision of relevant information.

In this role you will:

  • Create quotations for new product requests within our flexible and rigid business. Daily task.
  • Create and maintain selling price records on SAP, provide price lists when required to customer service and sales managers. Daily task
  • Update Price Management Programs (PMPs) that track the cost movement of Resin, Paper, Foil and Tyvek within a SKU. Calculate new prices, update SAP price records, forward updated price lists to the sales manager for communication to the customer. Quarter task.
  • Run price increase updates. Calculate pricing for SKU’s using material cost movements. Email updated price files to customers. Performed, once or twice a year.
  • Work with management / sales managers on price proposals to retain current business.
  • Provide sales and margin reports when requested. Occasionally task.
  • Provide any Ad-Hoc reports when requested by management.

Essential criteria:

University Degree / Third Level Qualification with an emphasis on a financial or technical subject matter. This could include, but is not limited to, finance, cost accounting or statistical analysis. An engineering background would be ideal. 

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Self-starting professional, team player with an entrepreneurial attitude and strong attention to detail
